The first soul care session helps me to get to know you, assess your needs, and create a roadmap for where you want to be when we finish counseling. The average number of sessions vary by the individual, their history, and their goals however soul care is intended to be brief. If in-depth, long-term, or trauma therapy is needed, a referral is made to get you with the right counselor to walk you down that road.
Grief takes as long as it takes, maybe a few sessions or maybe a year as you adjust to life with loss. Grief counseling may include talking about your loss, telling the story, and exploring the emotions your having. And it might include some grief work activities to do the work of grief. Whatever your grief story is, whether is a loss due to a loved one or a loss not as visible to others, grieving is an important step in the adjustment to the new normal.
The first premarital counseling session includes access to the digital SYMBIS assessment and a detailed report ($125). Each additional session is $95/hr.
